Richard Gere has sold his Connecticut estate for nearly $11 million, just a year after purchasing it for $10.8 million. The 75-year-old actor and his wife, Alejandra Silva, plan to move to Spain, where she is from, to be closer to her family. The property, which Gere bought from Paul Simon and Edie Brickell,
includes a 1938 house with six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a pool, gardens, and a guest cottage on 32 acres. Gere described the move as a “great adventure” for his family, which includes their two young sons, Alexander and James, as well as his older son Homer and Silva’s son Albert from previous relationships.
